2 Don’t be Afraid to Microwave
Cooking the chicken itself is only part of the story though. Just as difficult is trying to get the vegetables to come out on time and in the right condition. Too often, we’ll be juggling so many pots and pans and trays, that we can end up with one thing burning and another thing going cold on the side.
In fact, the logistics and stress are among the worst parts of the experience for many people!
So stay calm. Rather than letting things get on top of you, remember that you have an easy trump card: you can just microwave anything that has gone cold. While in the perfect world all of your pans will come out at the same time, we don’t live in a perfect world. Don’t let the broccoli turn to mush then: just take it out and place in a bowl. Then, when the rest is ready, pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes to bring it up to the same temperature as everything else. The job is done!
