
2. Classic Green Bean Casserole
What you need:
- A 10 ½ oz can of cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup of milk
- Tsp of soy sauce
- Dash of pepper
- 4 cups of cooked cut green beans
- 1 ⅓ cups of French fried onions
To make:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Add the milk, soup, soy sauce, pepper, beans and ⅔ cup of the onions to a bowl. Mix everything together until well incorporated. Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Bake the casserole for about 25 minutes or until it is hot and bubbling. Remove from oven and stir.
Sprinkle the remaining fried onions over the top of the casserole. Bake for about 5 more minutes or until the onions turn a golden brown. Remove from oven and serve warm. You can use fresh green beans for this recipe. Just make sure to blanch them first and then make the recipe as directed.
